Meet Rosie Andre: CDM’s New Event Marketing Consultant

Welcoming Rosie Andre to CDM - Q&A with Our New Marketing Consultant

We’ve got some exciting news...

Rosie Andre is joining CDM as a Marketing Consultant!

Rosie is a true end-to-end event marketer, with 5 years’ event marketing experience where she worked her way up from Marketing Assistant to Senior Marketing Manager. She’s known for being brilliantly hands-on, painfully precise (in the best way), and exactly the kind of person who stays calm when event timelines get spicy.

To help you get to know Rosie, we sat down for a quick Q&A on her background, what she loves most about event marketing, and what drew her to CDM. Let’s start from the beginning - what led you to a career in marketing?

I’ve got a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Exeter, and the marketing modules were the ones I genuinely enjoyed most. Those lectures and seminars were where I found myself properly leaning in, asking more questions, getting stuck into the work, and thinking, “Yep… this is my thing.” It just clicked.

Tell us about your professional experience so far.

I most recently worked at Hanson Wade, a leading event organiser in the life sciences space, where I progressed from Marketing Assistant to Senior Marketing Manager. That journey gave me a full end-to-end view of event marketing, from shaping campaign messaging and plans, through to hands-on execution, optimisation, and performance analysis.

What do you love most about event marketing?

I love how dynamic it is. No two days are the same, the pace is fast, and there’s always something to build, fix, refine, or launch. I genuinely love being kept busy, it’s the kind of energy I thrive on.

What are your favourite skills to bring to a project?

I really enjoy the more technical side of marketing. I loooved getting stuck into Adobe Marketo Engage when Hanson Wade transitioned from Pardot, and I led that shift from an execution perspective. I’m at my best when I can spot a problem, work out the smartest solution, and put something in place that’s future-proof, not just a quick fix.

Also… I’m a copy-proofing nerd - the kind that genuinely enjoys a tidy sentence. I’m pretty sure I still hold the record at Hanson Wade for most edits in one round of brochure amends!

What kinds of marketing challenges do you enjoy solving?

Anything where there’s a problem to untangle - a system that needs rebuilding, a process that needs streamlining, or a campaign that needs tightening up. I love making things work better, in a way that’s not just a quick fix, but something that actually holds up long-term.

Why did you choose to join CDM?

It honestly just ticked all my boxes. I’ve worked alongside multiple consultants in previous roles, so moving into a specialist consultancy environment felt like a really natural next step; especially with a business like CDM that’s growing quickly and building a genuinely brilliant team. I loved the idea of having variety across projects, the flexibility, and being able to work from home (I’m a total homebody). And just as importantly: it’s an amazing, supportive team, which makes all the difference.

What can clients expect when working with you?

A mix of hands-on execution, smart problem-solving, and a seriously sharp eye for detail. I’m big on campaigns that are delivered brilliantly and set up properly - structured, future-proof, and always focused on what will drive results.

A Few Fun Extras…

Coffee or tea? Vanilla oat latte in the morning, and Earl Grey in the afternoon/evening.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

My gorgeous 6-month-old English Setter puppy, Pinot 🐶 I love spending the weekends exploring the West Sussex countryside and pubs with him!

Any hobbies? I’m a big reader. I’ve read over 100 books a year for the past two years! Probably where my love for proofing has come from! I particularly love getting stuck into a good romantasy/fantasy series. My top 3 recommendations would be:

Rosie Andre's beautiful English Setter puppy, Pinpt

What are your goals for the future? I’m always focused on learning and getting better. I like to surround myself with people I can learn from, where I’m the most inexperienced in the room, and just soaking everything up. I’m big on investing in my own development, because that’s where my competitive streak really comes from: I want to be the best I can be and keep raising the bar.

Rosie, we’re so happy to have you on board — welcome to CDM!

Rosie’s already hit the ground running and is booked in with one of our newest clients, but she does still have limited part-time availability for the right projects. If you’d like to explore working with Rosie on an upcoming campaign, especially if you value a blend of event marketing expertise, martech confidence, and meticulous copy standards, get in touch!
