Our Story.
CDM (Caylee Donaldson Marketing) was founded in 2024 after a turning point in my career. After being made redundant at the end of 2023, I stepped into the world of contracting and quickly saw the same pattern repeat: businesses, especially event-led teams, were being let down by short-term fixes and unreliable support.

What they really needed wasn’t “a freelancer” or “an agency on retainer”. They needed reliable, flexible, event-savvy marketers who could plug in quickly, understand the commercial reality, and actually get the work done.

What started as a one-woman consultancy has grown into a small, focused team of event marketing consultants working across conferences, summits, memberships and campaigns.
