The AI Agent Market for Event Marketing, Mapped

The AI agent market for event marketing is moving faster than any analyst report can keep up with. Below is a working map of fifteen platforms genuinely worth knowing — not because they're all equally good, but because they each anchor a category you'll be asked about.

Each platform is mapped to the stack layer it primarily serves. A few span multiple layers; they're placed where they're strongest.

Three patterns to know

1. Enterprise platforms are absorbing agents. Salesforce (Agentforce), HubSpot (Breeze) and Microsoft (Sales Qualification Agent) are all embedding agents inside the CRM or marketing platform you already pay for. If you're a customer of any of these, your fastest move is to turn on what you already have.

2. Event tech vendors are racing to ship AI suites. RainFocus, Bizzabo, EventsAir and Cvent are each launching named AI products (Bizzy AI, Air Intelligence, and so on). Many features are still maturing — verify the demo against your actual use case before you commit.

3. Conversational AI, WhatsApp especially, is the most under-played channel. Wati, Interakt and Meta's own Business AI are letting smaller teams do what enterprise SMS programmes used to require. If you're not running a WhatsApp agent yet, that's the cheapest quick win available to you right now.

Build-your-own options (LangChain, n8n, custom orchestration) are real and growing — but unless you have engineering capacity, lean on the platforms above first. The build cost is rarely the bottleneck; the data foundation is.
